An antique pine dresser base is probably among the most useful items we sell!
This lovely base is finished in a medium brown wax.
The vent on the front signifies that it was probably used as a food cupboard when it was first made and the cut out in the back shows that it was likely last used as a tv unit.
The doors are cleverly hinged so that you can just lift them off should you ever wish to.
These may have started life with an upper cupboard to make a complete dresser like the stock you can see on our dresser page.
Dresser bases are available with/without drawers and most have a shelf at mid height in the main cupboard area.

90% plus of our restored pine furniture stock is old (c1840 -1910) and will have interesting tales to tell!
There may be the odd sign of its long life here or there but these will not detract from the overall look or function of the piece and only serve to add to its charm and appeal.
We are more than happy to send detailed images/videos prior to purchase of any item.
