This lovely old piece is a superb example - stripped of paint and ready to use as is, be waxed or painted.

This bed takes a mattress max size 95cm x 190cm
We used to get sprung mattresses made for each bed, they were very good but cost around £350. Now it is easier to get good quality memory foam maattresses for around 50% of that - plenty of options are available online.

90% plus of our restored pine furniture stock is old (c1840 -1910) and will have interesting tales to tell!
There may be the odd sign of its long life here or there but these will not detract from the overall look or function of the piece and only serve to add to its charm and appeal.
