This is a particularly versatile piece, with a fall-front writing surface that opens to reveal an excellent internal arrangement of drawers and compartments — ideal for organising paperwork, stationery, or even modern home working essentials. The layout is both functional and visually appealing, a hallmark of well-made Scandinavian furniture of this period.
 
The desk sits on turned front supports and features classic detailing throughout, including original-style knobs and escutcheons, all complementing the natural grain and warmth of the timber.
We have carefully stripped and restored the piece in our workshop, ensuring it is clean, solid, and ready for use while retaining the character and charm expected of antique pine.
 
It is currently in a bare, stripped finish, giving you the option to have it completed exactly to your taste:
