Obviously TV’s didn’t exist in Victorian times (the first public demonstration was in 1926) so we don’t have any original old pine TV stands.
We do have a great paint stripper though - we carefully choose pieces 30 years old ish that will strip nicely and once the varnish is removed and the wood is stained with the stripping water they blend in very nicely with original old pine.

90% plus of our restored pine furniture stock is old (c1840 -1910) and will have interesting tales to tell!
There may be the odd sign of its long life here or there but these will not detract from the overall look or function of the piece and only serve to add to its charm and appeal.
